USA Grappling is working in partnership with the newly formed National Collegiate Grappling Association (NCGA)—the official governing body responsible for all collegiate-level grappling competition and oversight in the United States.This initiative marks a transformative step forward in expanding competitive opportunities for student-athletes while aligning grappling with the academic and institutional standards expected in intercollegiate athletics.Under the direction of the NCGA, collegiate grappling will feature:

• Academic eligibility requirements modeled after established collegiate athletic systems
• Recognition of both Athletic and Academic All-American honors to celebrate success on the mat and in the classroom
• A competitive calendar of Regional Qualifiers, Conference Championships, and a National Collegiate Grappling Championship
